The Acute Care Transport Service (ACTS) provides 24-hour medical advice, stabilization and inter-hospital transport for critically ill and injured newborns and children. This incredibly unique team is comprised of specially trained registered nurses and registered respiratory therapists who are supported by critical care physicians.
Patients, parents and clinicians collaborated to inform the design for an innovative backpack that delivers an at-home, 28-day continuous infusion of the cancer immunotherapy blinatumomab. Compared to other medical carrying bags, the updated version provides improved comfort, fit, function and fun! The bag allows kids and teens to engage in regular life activities with their friends and family.
